Iodine 10% 500ml is a high quality iodine solution. It is used as a navel disinfectant in calves and lambs. Completely cover the navel in iodine as soon as possible after birth, repeat the application 4-6 hours later and allow drying before turn out. It comes with a trigger nozzle applicator for ease of application and accuracy of administration. The nozzle has a secure locking device which should be locked when not in use. It can also be used on other minor wounds to prevent bacteria. Active ingredients include iodine BP 10% and Ethanol. Due to the spirituous dries very quickly after applying due to its spirituous base. Iodine 10% can also be used to disinfect other minor cuts and grazes. Iodine will stain any porous surfaces it comes in contact with, so be sure to wear protective clothing and gloves.
